LEGO ® Robotics

LEGO ® Robotics

We’re excited to announce that LEGO® & ROBOTICS are joining forces to support a new program initiative for kids and youth (ages 8 – 13 yrs.) The goals for our participants are: I) to inspire their interest & creativity, 2) cultivate problem-solving skills, 3) exercise social skills, and 4) experience the value of teamwork in life. On a weekly basis, participants will partner with another participant for ‘a challenge’, utilize a Samsung tablet pre-loaded with WeDo.2.0 to design an innovative solution to the ‘challenge’ then collaborate to build a working LEGO®/robotics model. Through the course of our time together, we’ll practice listening and respecting others, encouraging others with kind words and praise and celebrate the fun we can have working together on an activity we both enjoy and share as a common interest.
